The Sportive Dunfermline will be held on Sunday the 1st. April 2012.
Sportive Dunfermline will be an annual event. The event organisers are Prentice Events and Sandy Wallace Cycles. Please visit the Prentice Events website www.prenticeevents.org for ongoing updates on this and other events we organise.
Prentice Events was set up in 2007 by Allan. Allan has always been a keen cyclist so it made sense to use this as a way of raising funds as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle in Scotland, and maybe even help reduce our carbon footprint.
Prentice Events are a Registered Scottish Charity (sc039404) that aims to create and deliver charity events (primarily cycling), to raise funds for charities, to improve the health of our youth and promote environmentally friendly transport.

The reasons for the sportive:
- To provide a cycling event for experienced cyclists
- To raise funds for Prentice Events to support our aim of running of various cycle events and donating funds to good causes
Event Details:
- The event HQ will be at Queen Anne High School, Broomhead Parks, Dunfermline, Fife, KY12 0PQ
- The will be three routes known as the Long route, Middle route and Short route
- The cost will be £30
- Registration between 08:00am and 10:00am
- Timing will finish at 5pm and the event HQ will close at 5:15pm
